This will probably be interpreted as insulting but it isn't intended that way... I don't understand why you're asking the question. To be blunt, why is it anyone's business but yours, and why would anyone else care whether it was $150, $1500, or $15,000?

Note again: this isn't an attack. It's a real question... I don't get it.

Unless it's comedy... in that case, I'm for it, of course!

OK, was it done by a friend or a professional web designer? i.e., did you pay going rate or get it as a special due to friendship or other considerations?

A professional web designer who I met on the web, but have NEVER met in person, nor have I ever talked to this person on the phone.

My guess is that this is his way of attracting visitors to the site.

And for shits and giggles, my monetary guess for the design is $100.

 

This contest is a way to get people to go to his site.
