Hi guys, I've been runing a website for 6 months now and using adsense from the beggining but the CPC is still way too low. Just yesterday I got 27 clicks and 53 cents!! I wanted a very simple website so there's not much text on most pages. I was wondering if this could be the reason for the low CPC. I am thinking of adding some parragraphs at the top a the right hand panel and remove the 120x600 adsense block on the right. Does it matter where I put the text in relation to the ads? any ideas. What do you think of the web by the way? is it too simple? the address is www.ticketswap.eu

Hey Kazike, welcome to the forum.

More content is always good. But regarding your 27 clicks, how many uniques are you getting per day? What's your CTR? Some industries/content themes just don't get a lot of people interested in ads. Some do. Perhaps yours isn't super competitive.

Otherwise I think the site looks good. The basic thing works for me.

You can also try blocking out ads that aren't appropriate, although there's a risk of actually lowering your CPC too with that. Search around the forums for "blocking ads adsense" for more info on that.

    Good luck.

I think your theme isn't very competitive. Also, as Spainexpat mentioned, you can try blocking some ads from google that don't relate. The site http://www.adsblacklist.com gives a list of Made for adsense sites that you can block.
