Anti-virus vendor Trend Micro Inc. provides a free online scanning tool that detects and deletes the "CoolWebSearch" application.

I use Trend Micro and I think it is the best anti-virus, spyware program just now with daily and some times hourly updates. It has none of the problems that comes with Norton.

The problem is that CWS is always one step ahead. I had to reformat after that tool and every other one couldn't detect the variation I had.

    CWS is the absolute worst
