That's correct for now, though we do have a three-year maintenance program for those who are worried that things could change. Our Anti-Alien-Abduction Tinfoil Hat customers relied on our maintenance program quite a bit as the type of aliens doing abductions changed from the lizard-type aliens to the gray-type aliens. Note that our tinfoil hats also support all varieties of potatoes: Idaho, Maine, etc., so there will be no need to update the hats for any baking issues, either.

Yes, I know that your international division came out with the Prince Edward Island/New Brunswick potato model for your Canadian customers. And don't even get me started on your Irish model.

How can they use a azithromycin antibiotic on a viral infection, isn't that just potentially making a superbug?

First off Chloroquine and Azithromycin are two separate drugs. Some physicians have used the two together to fight the Covid-19 virus. They ought not to be doing that and most experts frown on it. I am sure this new experimental combination will be regulated and eventually disallowed.

Our Deluxe Irish Tinfoil Hat now comes as a complete kit with a six-pack of Guinness. Good for fighting the virus and surviving the quarantine.

There are a lot of approved drugs out there where the manufacturer says something like, "We don't really know why it works (what pharmacokinetic and biochemical processes are causing the effect) but we know that it does work based on the tests and trials." I suspect that is what is going on here. Some doctor, in desperation, tried the combination to save a life and it did. Tried it again, and it worked again and better than just the malaria drug alone. That is how anecdotal evidence emerges, as far as I know.

Quick update: there are apparently quite a few scientific papers published the past few years on the antiviral benefits of Azithromycin in addition to its clear antibacterial benefits. One of them, in 2015, found that it showed antiviral properties when treating cystic fibrosis patients. There were other ones involving influenza cases in more recent years and usually used in conjunction with other drugs. Anyway, whether or not it becomes a recommended treatment for Covid-19, it seems to be worth looking into.

Yeah. One that comes to mind is that diet drug from the 90s. Killed a lot of people. Heart issues as I recall. Can't think of its name off hand. I don't even remember now if it was FDA approved in the first place but they did end up forcing it off the shelves. Only after the heart issue rate skyrocketed.

The tinfoil hat with the bug spray attachment works well against them I've heard.

Well, if it includes Guinness there can't be anything at all wrong with it.

I think that was Phen-Fen or something like that. It was a pretty effective diet: once you died, you stopped gaining weight instantly.

Our Super Deluxe Tinfoil Hats with the Invisibility feature have been our recommended alien abduction prevention hats since they were released a few years ago. Aliens of any type cannot abduct what they cannot find. There were too many different alien species to keep separate models or attachments in stock all of the time, so we went with invisibility. And, yes, we are still working out the details of our proposed "Massive Black Hole Tinfoil Hats" which will not only provide invisibility but will send any alien back to the galaxy from which it came. Still working a few bugs out, so to speak.

There also have been reports of scammers offering (fake) Covid-19 tests for a fee.

Yep, Phen-Fen. I think that's the one. A fellow scuba diver was on that stuff. He lost weight and as far as I know it didn't kill him. I don't know if he developed heart problems from it though as he got married and his new wife didn't have a desire for participating in our underwater sport so he disappeared from our scene.

Throw in a 24 packet of toilet paper, a rabbit's foot along with a horseshoe and you have a deal.
