LOL, you are using articles and tweets from weeks ago. That was when Fake News (especially the NYT) was trumpeting the fake models predicting that hospitalizations, deaths, etc., were going to be overwhelming. The models, of course, have been proven wrong and the numbers are much less and here is a headline from just four days ago:

De Blasio: NYC has enough ventilators, PPE for coming week under ‘crisis standard’

    https://nypost.com/2020/04/12/de-blasio-says-nyc-has-enough-ventilators-ppe-for-coming-week/

Also, you are putting out old news on the USS Comfort. Originally, it was supposed to be for non-Covid-19, but at the request of NY officials, it was converted to handle Covid-19 patients. Not needed, of course, because the modeling hysteria was proven wrong again. I stand by my statements above.

They say that you are worth billions. I hope that unlike your buddy Bill Gates you won't donate hundreds of millions of dollars to the WHO. They dropped the ball as far as I'm concerned and ought not to be rewarded for it.

I have considered them to be quacks ever since they scoffed at my tinfoil hats, despite my documented success over the decades and the big, humanitarian discount I offered them if they endorsed my products.

So, the cracks in the dam are starting. There were open protests at the Michigan statehouse over the nutty leftwing governor's lockdown rules. A number of states are saying that they are going to open back up soon. Trump will be announcing his opening plans tonight. Once a few states open up and businesses get back to work and tax revenues start coming in, the other states are going to take note (along with their own businesspeople) and it is going to be really hard to stay closed down. Will be interesting to see how this plays out, but I do not see governors being able to keep their states closed down when others right next to them are opening up.

Of course, this is bad news for the FakeNews/Left/Swamp who want the economy shut down as long as possible. Keeps Sleepy Joe's dementia out of the spotlight and might still hurt Trump if they can figure out how to blame him for everything.

At least there's one "feel good" story to come out of this nightmare, Captain Tom Moore aged 99 has raised more than 20 million pounds for the NHS by walking 100 laps round his garden before his 100th birthday, he originally wanted to raise £1000 and it seems the whole country got behind him and it went viral. What a legend!

I have previously slammed the mathematical models being used to predict mortality from the Coronavirus and, of course, my comments have been shown to be correct: the models are always way off and mostly in the most negative way possible. That is how modeling works and gets funded. However, I have not discussed the actual data collection and analyses that go into feeding these bad models. It turns out that the data is as bad as the models or perhaps worse. For example, if you read the latest guidance from the CDC on how the U.S. will collect mortality data:

    https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvss/coronavirus/Alert-2-New-ICD-code-introduced-for-COVID-19-deaths.pdf

You will see the following quotes: "...the rules for coding and selection of the underlying cause of death are expected to result in COVID19 being the underlying cause more often than not." What? We are going to code death certificates based on rules that we expect to result in Covid-19 to be the cause? How does that work? Here's another quote from this document: "...COVID-19 should be reported on the death certificate for all decedents where the disease caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death...If the decedent had other chronic conditions such as COPD or asthma that may have also contributed, these conditions can be reported in Part II..." So, the collection of data is purposely skewed to show more Covid-19 deaths. And, keep in mind, that it is in the doctors' or hospitals' best financial interests to report a death as being caused by Covid-19 because treatment of Covid-19 is fully reimbursed by the government, right now, whereas other types of deaths are not. Still feeling good about our testing and data collection?

But, it goes beyond the collection of data. You also have to analyze the collected data for other issues before you model with it. For example, as of right now, 36% of all U.S. Coronavirus cases are centered in New York, and not even the entire state. The vast majority of those cases are in Queens. One borough of New York City. In fact, 25% of the counties across the nation have 0% presence of any form of the virus. Which means America, basing its decisions on bad data, is applying a national solution to what is primarily a local problem.

Because of this bad data and the inaccurate models being used, we have shut down the strongest economy that the country may have ever seen. No wonder protests are erupting around the country as power-crazed, leftist governors try to restrict the freedoms of Americans as they have always wanted to do. As the crazed, radical socialist Saul Alinsky said, "Never let a crisis go to waste."

Because many of the protesters are donning your tinfoil hats the radical left news media are now referring to them as "tinfoil terrorists". And because the hats are conical in shape some media outlets are calling them "the new KKK".
As far as I am concerned this is nothing short of clumsy propaganda and your clientele are being smeared/painted with an unfair brush!

We have been recommending that our clients who are in radical leftist locales to consider upgrading to our Sleek & Sporty Tinfoil Hats for cosmetic reasons and the added aerodynamic functions, of course. Purists prefer our original designs, however.

Coronavirus is not another flu. I had it in the beginning of February and I can see how much more dangerous it is for the elderly, people with preexisting conditions, young children. I don't believe shutting the countries was a mistake per se, I do think, however, that they should've done it in a less drastic way.

On a different note: We've just had a tornado warning in our area (got a cell phone notification). It says "take shelter now".

In a shocking case of liberal hypocrisy Nancy Pelosi was seen walking out of her mansion with a tinfoil hat in her left hand. (of course it would be left) When asked by reporters she claimed that she found it on the ground and was just picking it up "as a matter of environmental stewardship"..........B.S.

Have you seen the video of her tearing up a tinfoil hat in frustration after the State of the Union address earlier this year? It was one of several that she personally owns and my understanding is that she had three fulltime staff trying to glue it back together after the camera's turned off. Voided the warranty, of course. She even keeps a few in the freezer with her beloved ice cream so that she can wear a chilled hat while having her chilled dessert. As always, follow the tinfoil hat trail...

The questions you seek about the coronavirus cannot be answered by us. There is a lot of infromation about the virus on the web. The government has dedicated its time to showing users what it is all about. It is an awareness time for the people. Stop trying to understand it. What you have to do is protect yourself.

Most free thinking Americans don't reason that way. They don't fully trust the Government and don't believe it has their best interest at heart. They'd say to you that civil liberties should not be trampled upon even at a time like this.
