    Hi,

I have two websites which have a pretty poor CTR and CPM. As a matter of fact, even with growing traffic, CPM seems to be falling...

Please take a look if you get a chance and let me know what you thing. Any advice will be greatly appreciated..

    Sites are:

    www.sitesforsale.ie
    www.selfbuildinireland.com

    Thanks very much in advance...

First site: for the link colors of your left ad, change it to green so it blends in w/ the rest of the links.

Second site: I would ad another unit to the left of your site.

First Site : You Can change the Title of the ads on the Sidebar to Green (Light or Dark) same for the Banner on the Header.

Second Site : The site is bit too wide isn't it ?, so people won't scroll and click on ads, you need to do some adjustment so that it is easily noticeable

    thanks all..

so the main recommendation is to blend the ads in with the content of the site (i.e. use a similar colour scheme)..

I'll give this a go and track the results.. Do you find that ads perform better with or without borders?

Well atm the first one isn't working for me

2nd.. hmm to plain for me.. try and spice up the website with color! Also way to wide your visitors have to scroll to the side witch is annoying

Similar suggestions to above, but I definitely think you could do very well on the second site by having a text list above or below the articles list on the left hand side..... properly blended with the same font and colour and it will really help.

    Sharkticus,

when you say a text list - do you mean a text ad and what size would you recommend?
sounds like a very good idea - I will definitely implement that...
