Creating autorun files

    Hi everyone,

I'd like to learn how to make a simple auto-run file. Specifically, I'd like to create a CD of freeware that is freely distributable and give it to my parents so they can maintain their own computer. For example, the main autorun screen might have categories (anti-spyware, antivirus, etc) and when clicked, the subscreens would have a brief description of why they need the program, and links to install and run Spybot S&D, AVG Free antivirus, etc.

I emphasize that I don't want to make a profit off this... I just want my family to be able to do their own basic computer upkeep without me having to come over all the time.

Can you recommend any freeware programs that create autorun files? (noting that I don't have any programming experience - I had one class in Visual Basic and that's it!) I know they're available via Google, but I'd like some personal recommendations from those of you who might have used them.

You dont need any software to create autorun files.. All it takes is a file (I think named autorun.ini) that you place in the top folder of cd.

Pop in another cd that has autorun on to see how it looks like.
