Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

CTR is 0.25%..how can ad placement be changed to increase it?

    Hi,
This is my friend's tech blog:

    http://www.neomeme.net

He's asking me for help with AdSense placement because his CTR right now is about 0.25%.

There is one ad unit on the right sidebar, and one at the end of every post. Example:
    http://www.neomeme.net/2007/07/04/is-google-good-for-us/#comments

Without changing the theme, how can ads be better placed for higher CTR?

There is no adsense at the top of the page. I would add one small long strip at the top right under the menu bar. I think its 700x15 or something like that.

Change the ads to be on top of every post.

Add a 336x280 box on the top of the posts, and change the 468x60 banner from the bottom to the header of the website (right side).
