    its not actually the new cutenews, a former moderator on the original cutenews site modified and extended it to support txtsql and mysql, then proceeded to make better plugins. He named the new version "Strawberry" derived from cutenews. But the url to the site for Strawberry is Cutenews.ru

    Does "Strawberry" has the right to do that?
    So, it is a modified cutenews, not cutenews.......... that's why they are having diff website.......

    Yes, they did ask permission to the original coder, and I think they were approved to use the cutenews name, its like cutenews code name strawberry...
