Data Enrichment for Food and Consumer Product Listings

    Hi crew,

    I ran a niche food products Shopify store (had to shut it down sadly) for a while and one of the biggest issues I faced was receiving incomplete and inaccurate data from my suppliers. Dated images, wrong UPCs, no measurements, that type of thing.

    Off the back of that I'm creating a product that will provide eCommerce stores in the branded food and consumer goods space with a Shopify/Woocommerce app and API that can be linked up to the stores to automatically complete/correct the data of product listings.

    Wanted to see if anyone here has experienced this issue and if anyone would be willing to discuss their experience so I can tailor the product so that it's actually useful.

    General thoughts appreciated!!

    Different niche but in travel "hotel" bookings a problem we ran into frequently went like this

    listing in Booking.com, parking is "available"
    Agoda.com gets the feed and marks the listing as "free parking"

    Apart from the complete nonsense of saying "oh we don't have parking but there are parking companies nearby" we got caught out often enough to now boycott Agoda because their listings just aren't accurate.

    For you, it becomes are the data sets saying what you think they're saying?
