For everyone who owns a website.

Do you find that your traffic is effected by days of the week, for example more people may use gaming sites in the week as they're bored at their workplace or school.

    Or

Special events such as New Years when most people are out?

One of my sites always experiences a drop in traffic on Sundays, this might just be me but it would be nice to hear the rest of your thoughts.

    Thanks Digitalpoint.

Definately. Weekdays have much more business, and during international holidays such as Christmas traffic sucks, since everyone is doing something else.

I have one site that drops on the weekends. It's audience is technical, and most people aren't working on the weekends

I have another that rises on the weekends, because it's catering to hobbyists

Definitely the case. The Christmas and New Year period were absolutely dead - only half the usual traffic. I guess people were too busy enjoying time with their families to surf the net.

My sites also experienced a drop on traffic on the weekends. But starts to pick up on the normal days.
