Dedicated IP Hosting -Need Help

    Hello Every one, I am new in this forum & i have a query to shared you i think you can help me.
    i have a host a website (Redurewebtech.com) in godaddy with Dedicated IP.
    Now it's renewal time so when i going to godaddy account for renew my domain i am getting there 2 options.
    1. Hosting - Web - Starter - Linux cPanel - 1 Year (recurring)===Renew price Rs.1800
    2. Dedicated Hosting IP - 1 year =====Renew price Rs. 4000

    So now i Don't want Dedicated Hosting IP, If I Renew only option 1 but not option 2
    then my site website Redurewebtech.com open/running or not.
    Please reply ASAP.

    If you don't want to pay Godaddy for their service, please contact Godaddy, nobody on Digitalpoint will be able to help you.

    In any case, Dedicated IP is needed only for SSL certificates, meaning you have to use any kind of billing on your site - sell something, for example. If you do not - you do not need Dedicated IP.

    But as you are Indian and clearly do not know what you are doing, Godaddy will try to charge the most of you.

    If you don't need dedicated IP then contact with godaddy and submit cancellation request.

    You should have directly asked this question to Godaddy. Who knows they might waive the dedicated ip cost for you. ;)

    The best way to solve over your matters is to communicate with Godaddy.
    I believe if you don't use SSL for your website, you won't probably need it and Godaddy can cancel the service without worrying you wouldn't be able to access your site. I believe so.

    If you dont need the dedicated IP address. Then contact GoDaddy to cancel your dedicated IP address subscription and your done :)
