I am sure that everyone here has experienced Deja Vu at least once. How often do you experience Deja vu? I often wonder if when this happens we are recalling a similar experience from another lifetime. It certainly feels weird when it happens.

I was thinking more deja vu. A flash back is a recall of an actual occurence. In deja vu, something just feels very familiar --right?

I had it pleanty of times. I have managed to remember what it was all about a number of times as well. Basically its similar situations i was in that either happened a long time ago or just something i was dreaming about. You tend to forget your dreams. But i recon they still (or at least bits of them) stay in your memory... Sitting there untill something triggers them back again.

Deja vu can be you seeing your future(from you subconscious etc...). Before you say im nuts their has been research done on this prooving atleast 99.9% are psychic. The test was done with a bunch of probes connected to the head, a camera was used to monitored face, pupil, and eye movement and a display to show images on. The person was then told to watch the display and just look at the images that were randomly being displayed while they recorded the data. They found all the people that they tested were reacting to the images before they were even showen on the monitor.
The subconscious plays a big role in how we act. Thats why they outlawed ads that would flash so quickly that conciously you didnt notice them but subconciously you would react. They did this with a beer commercial and discovered that the people exposed to this type of commercial would drink more beer.(i could make a huge discussion on this but prefer not to deviate off topic)
Ill end this with what someone once told me. "Deja vu means your on track, that your lifes on track."

    Edisonian,

I remember reading that deja vu was caused by a momentary lapse between your right brain and your left brain. Whatever it is, when it happens it is bloody weird. I had it really intensely once where I was in a mini bus with a bunch of people I had never met in my life and there was a girl talking to me. I swear I felt I knew everything she was going to say and do and it was freaky.

Funny thing is I was on holiday at the time and we became friends and hung out together for a couple of days. She said she'd had deja vu when she met me!

I also read somewhere that the average human uses less than 10% of their brain capacity. Who knows, I might just be more highly evolved than you mottley lot.
