    Hi Guys,
I created a folder today and placed it within a folder which I share with other computers in my office. I accidentally deleted that folder and lost the data. I had .fla and swf files in it. System restore or other options won't work as I did not create any restore points. I tried back2life and a few other data recovery softwares which were able to show those files but when I open the .fla files or swf the data is empty. Please help guys. I need those files at any cost.

    >> at any cost.

Hire data recovery professionals. And in the meantime don't use the computer, don't even turn it on, because the OS writes to the HHD and you might be overwriting the data you need, even if you aren't creating files. Also do a search for "data recovery" and see if you can find any more programs to try. Good luck.

    Check out http://www.handyrecovery.com/

I've used this tool in the past and was able to recover some data I thought for sure was gone. You can try before you buy, to be sure it will see your deleted files. No affiliation, just used it and it worked well for me.

Aren't the folders sitting in the trash? Can't you just undelete them?

Also if you happen to have Norton System works installed, you might be able to recover it with the unerase wizard (it needs to be installed before you deleted the file though)
