That is the way to have an argument.

Just in case you're interested, I made the rocket out of old McDonalds Boxes, and used the "Hungry Man All day Breakfast" for fuel. It only took 2 servings to get there!

You know those Earthquakes that hit San Francisco and Oakland 10 years or so ago that leveled all the bridges. I seen that on TV, but I will not believe that it ever happened. Unless I am standing on the fault line and the earth swallows me completely up and I see the center core of the earth on fire, I WILL NOT BELIEVE THAT AN EARTHQUAKE HIT CALIFORNIA.

Anthony, you are not really taking part in the original debate. I asked you earlier to stop dragging in other silly examples. Why do I have to go find evidence myself against what I am saying?

Stop rumbling about BS that has nothing to do with it. I'm getting bored with it.

Why is the example Bullshit, I was not in the earthquake, but seen it on TV, I do believe that it happened. I do not think it was a fabrication of the government.

When hurricane Andrew blew away South Florida, I seen it on TV, I really did not think that Hollywood staged that one.

I seen two space shuttles blow up on TV, did the government put on that production for a certain reason?

I seen the Moon landings on live TV, do you think that this country is that much of a fraud to stage many landings on the moon, fooling taxpayers?

We have over 200 million citizens in the USA, do you think the government is able to pull the wool over our heads?

Maybe on some issues, but not on something as important to the fabric of a nation.

Yes, we have corrupt officials that steal trillions of dollars right under the nose of the citizens and we do nothing about it.

But that shit is going to change or the country is doomed.

I will tell you there is a lot of fraud in the government, but our space program is not one of them.

    Was that aimed at me?

If so, I apologise for causing offence.

    If not, then I don't apologise. ;)

Anyway, there are better things to talk about than this.

No SE, that was for the new guy......

Listen, I know what Tops is trying to present, he wants us to give it study, but when you lived something you do not need to go back to prove it or disprove it.

I lived through the subject of this thread, I am sure that I and Millions of American Citizens were not presented a fraud for a space program.

If others want to pursue this subject that is fine with me, but to continue to beat your head against the wall is not productive for any of us.

Tops is my friend and I hope damm well that he is not offended by my posts in this thread.

if landing on the moon was true why NASA do not present any solid proof (ofcoz aside from the silly and fake black&white video)? Instead NASA answers Ex-astronaut Bart Sibrel a stupid statemet "American landed on the moon and its the end of the story"

"72-year-old former astronaut Buzz Aldrin punched 37-year-old conspiracy theorist Bart Sibrel in the face after Sibrel asked him to swear on a Bible that he really did land on the moon" -- News from About.com

I don't blame him for punching the man, it does not prove nor disprove anything, except that the guy was looking for attention.

You didn't live through anything other than a bunch of televised images that may or may not have come from outer space any more than I'm living through the Iraqi war. It's on tv and thats as close as I'll ever get to it (not debating if the iraqi war is real). Once again, just because it was on tv doesn't make it real.

I think intelligent folks can tell the difference between real TV and fake TV.

When I watch a Cleveland Browns football game I have no doubt that those players are hitting each other hard.

Just because I do not feel the pain when a quarterback gets sacked does not mean that the man did not get his freaking head knocked off.

I really could not care less what you guys believe and am not trying to convince you of anything.

I know when I see Madonna on TV or Wacko Jacko that I hate both of them.

No need to see them in real life to tell them they are the biggest phony bastards on earth.

TV is a medium just like your radio, if Howard Stern tells you that Pam Anderson has fake tits on the radio would you believe him or would you say that you had to feel them first?

Maybe you would believe him if it was on his TV show :D

    Exactly!

And if nothing else, at least we might have encouraged people to do some critical thinking of their own. And even though we didn't get anywhere, we spent two hours less staring at google rankings and stats, that must be a healthy break for the mind.

Let's find a new topic to fight about shall we?

I do not believe we landed on the moon. Think about it.. Neil Armstrong, in fact, NONE of the astronauts ever talked about walking on the moon, or ever did an interview about it. Many of the people who were involved with the hardware design came forward and stated that they believe it was a hoax. The german man who invented the cameras that they used, for instance, said the photos were "manipulated". As for all the people "keeping a secret" only a handful knew what was really going on. The people looking a computer screens, ect. had done simulations before hand with fake data, to practice. No stars in any of the moon pics (too easy to disprove) It seems that the "moon set" probobly was located in area 51. (which is why the area is still off limits today, even though nothing is supposed to be going on there)
