Did they think it was my birthday yesterday?

I received the code for analytics.
Yahoo added me to the directory for free after 8 tries and used my main keyword phrase as their anchor text!! the description is a bit sloppy though but I'm not complaining.

This morning Google pushed me 22 positions higher. My new home is now position 45. Still a long way to go but it's a pretty big step in the right direction for me. considering I only moved 10 spots in 3 weeks trying to optimize my pages step by step.

Does analitics have anything to do with jumping the 22 spots or do you think the directory listing had anything to do with it (too)?

I have a no. 2 spot in MSN for my main keyword phrase and 13 in yahoo and both gave pretty good results for traffic does Google look at the report results and use them for their own?

I mean analytics is a very cool program I really was surprised to see what it all did but I guess google also profits from that too. now knowing exactly what your site does and how many visitors it really attracts.

I know I sometimes would love to see how my competitors website is doing....

.... not a great keyphrase but hey, a No1 is a No1

 

I got a googlr analytics but have yet to try it out. If it helps me out then we know it was the analytics....
