Yes. It's great! You don't even need to buy in bulk. I used to get a lot of lock-smith tools from there and sell them on my website. They were 50% less than anything from europe.

Do you mean directly from China?

We've just managed to find Australian peanut butter - seems weird that most peanut butter is from China.

I've bought several times from China and most of the time everything went great. I've had couple lost shipments but they were small products and nothing major.

Many of our networking supplies are made in China. I think that it is a mistake to try to categorize the buying experience in a large country like China with a single profile based upon a handful of experiences. There are good companies to deal with and bad companies to deal with and everything in between. Just like anywhere else. We get excellent products at great prices from manufacturers in which there is a relatively long relationshionship of mutual trust. But we have seen -- and rejected -- sub-par quality products from other suppliers in China. They were marked for U.S. sales, so I am sure other vendors are selling them here in the U.S., of course. So, as always, caveat emptor no matter the country you buy from.

Yes. Indeed, many products all over the world are made in China. It is not weird nowadays that you find commdities in USA made in China.

Did you go to China to buy or buy online?

Buying directly from Chinese manufacturers may be cost less than from eBay. But how can make my money from being stolen? I want to import some LED lights from China, but I find very hard to decide.

Often. It's very easy and secure, as long as you make sure the seller has a good "rating". The only one time (out of many many many times I've ordered) I didn't get my shipment, they reimbursed my money two days after I sent an email with a complaint. Just make sure they have a good rating and you'll be perfectly fine.

Make sure you look at shippingcosts and payment methods. Don't use WesternUnion for instanse, thats almost only used by frauds!

Buy with confidence! People arround me have ordered all kinds of equipment, tools and what not. Some are reselling, some use them for their daily work. Quality is questionable most times but there are also top-quality products but they cost extra.
Make sure you double check the shipping costs and import duties. Depending on where you are the import tax may make it not worth the import.

I have purchased some products, mostly electronics, from China.

Unfortunately, majority of my purchases were less-than-impressive experiences. My #1 complaint was shipping/delivery (ie late-delivery, damaged goods, etc.) #2 is customer service. Granted, I cut some slack because of translation/cultural barriers (I learned my lesson to never do business around Chinese New Year :p)

Obviously the major reason to make any purchase from China is because of the cost/inexpensive. I came to a conclusion that if I can support my local businesses and do face-to-face purchases/transactions, albeit for a couple more dollars, then I will.

My MacBook Air made in China. And iPad Mini made in China too.
You can purchase expensive electronics from China - it's normal.
Never purchase Chinese electric guitars (especially Gibson fakes) - the sound is crap.
    And Armani, Vuitton, CD bags...

I have done before, I purchased headphones from a website called tradetang! Not too sure if that site is still around but it had some good deals at the time, especially if you bought wholesale you could get things very cheap indeed. The only downsite to ordering things from China is that obviously it takes a very long while to come (sometimes upto 24 days) which makes the whole process drag on a lot longer than neccessary.
