    I now better understand the concepts, it's too feed the Search Engines.

    Social Networking like Twitter is where you connect with other people, social bookmarking is when you broadcast something like an article to eg Digg.com? But you can also do that with Twitter.

    Anyone else care to elaborate on this?

    Social Bookmarks is storing pages and links of sites you like with keywords or tags describing them. Other users of the social bookmark sites have the same keywords and the results are displayed when searched for.

    Social Networking is when users have profiles which include geographical location, employment, schooling, and interests. Other users can search by these parameters and make friends/connections.
