Different sized ad units

    I need some help folks.

    I started putting adsense on my site. I registered and got accepted.

    referring to this page :

    https://www.google.com/adsense/adformats

    Now, i am able to put the Leaderboard (728 x 90) ad ok.. near the top of the page. It appears fine.


    However when I then attempted to put another 2 x Square (250 x 250) ads next to each other, in the middle of the page, .... the 'Leaderboard' ad appears ok, but in the place where the 2 x square ads should appear, i just get 2 blanks sqaure blocks (2 x 250x250 white square boxes)

    However, If I remove the Leaderboard adsense code, then the first of the Square ad's appears fine, but in the place of the 2nd is a blank 250x250 white square.


    I understand google allows max of 3 ad units per page, so where am i going wrong... ?

    Have you specified not to show PSA but a color?
    If so, google is simply not (yet) finding enough ads for that page.
    Specify an alternate url for that case and put some other ads inside (CJ or your own) and see if that gets displayed correctly.
    I am using a CMS and sometimes when I submit a post I have filtered html checked (its for my users who I don't want to post scripts). That may be another thing to check.

    also, adsense will only show 3 ad blocks on a page. If you try to do more than that, they just wont appear.

    thanks guys. i think its the fact there arent enough ads out there. I have sussed it out... i have implemented the "Collapsing ad units" feature and that has done the trick.

    as further point... i've put the ads in the games section (flash games)... my main home page is a matrimonial website.... so i am getting matrimonial ads in the game section which is a bit annoying.

    and please tell me what ads you are seeing.

    I guess it will take time before google can put contextual ads related to games on that page.
