Difficulty with design and content layout

    Hello
    I'm a desperate situation, i'm about to launch my website and i've just realised how big the pages are and that they may not even load on the majority of browsers who may be on slower connections and broadband.

    My home page is around 388 kb in size and consists of around 45 files, the other pages are similar, can anyone take a look and see what i can do to re-arrange and perhaps speed things up.

    I use serif software and i also don't know how to shrink my images only reduce them by tagging the corner and dragging. Maybe this is no helping.

    I don't see why they are so large, i have written a lot of content

    Your pages are normal. You just need to optimise the images esp the png images. they take up some bandwidth. Use some image compression and you will be okay.
