Anyone could explain how these things work?
On some websites I see ppl put those small icons,
    what do those icons do?
On some site I have seen like 50 of those icons under the article.
Does the guy submits his article to all 50 of them, or are the some automated way?
Also I was checking digs and didn't not find where to get the small icon.

    someone please explain.
    thank you.

users and readers of his blog would want to save the article for future use....one way is to bookmark it to browser but now web 2.0 replaces the bookmarks by browser....the article reader will save that article in his favourite bookmarking sites like de.icio.us and others....if more readers save that article to bookmarking sites then that article will get more traffic.....as many people search in these social bookmark sites instead of google..........

in blogosphere social bookmarking is on boom now giving most bloggers the traffic they want as blogs are informative and most often people save those artciles ......in bookmarking sites.....

Also bloggers put their own articles in the bookmarking sites.......but they too have to manually press a button to save the post to a social bookmarking sites............

Submitting to each and every article to the big list of bookmarking sites is very difficult. If the visitor is interested he may bookmark it for his reference.
