Mine too was banned, but I am not going to sign up for another one. I guess I learn my lesson, go slow and steady on SEO instead of relying on quick fixes like Digging each other. Not signing up another because it is not much use for me, the aim of Digg is when you like a story and want to share with others. For me it is SEO and signing up another would still mean I will go for the SEO and still get banned. I feel that I am abusing the Digg system, no point and really not a good thing to do anyway.

because I'm making mini sites, digg really gives an easy way to rank in 1st and 2nd page of Google.
my previous submits are all being deleted by Digg.
That's why I'm wondering whether I should still rely on Digg.

Not pointing at Rick here, but if a Webmaster continously posts nothing but short submissions (crap, filler), with their URL in it, and other ways to overly promote oneself, what does he expect?

I agree with SEOpaw, good content and target niche, you do not need to submit, the search engines will come automatically to you and give you a good position. Concentrating on that now. Digg is also short term "solution" no point.

Well you're not the first and I'm sure you won't be the last. I don't know if you can create another account because I've heard that Digg blocks IPs but I guess you can always give it a try.

I do not recommend this but its for you to experience, Digg is a short term linkage from their to yours. and if you get banned, your account willl be banned, worst thing your IP will get banned also. if you want to digg again, go register another account with a proxy server.

Done this part when I was a fresh start stages. :D

Digg should not be used to submit your own artilcles or websites. It should be used as a social bookmarking website or atleast as a bookmarking storage site.

By doing that in between you can add your own stories say (1:20) ratio to other stories. I believe it is better to submit articles to directories and get lot of backlinks than to submit to few social bookmarking sites only to get banned some day.

If you do use Digg for your own sites, do NEWS and not the site itself.

Let me put it this way, do you digg "yahoo.com - Cool search site" or some article on "news.yahoo.com". The answer is always B. A is spam. Digging minisites is spam. Digging linkbait on those minisites might be a different story :)
