How does a digg article make it to their home page (made popular)?
Is it by the number of "digg" the article gets? or is it reviewed and manually determined by the staff at digg?

By the number of diggs from members. That is why some people trade diggs.

It's not just the number of diggs though. It's also the people who dugg it and how quickly it gets those diggs. Sometimes a story gets 200+ diggs and don't get to the front page and other times a story gets 30 diggs and it gets promoted.

one must also be very careful about trading diggs with people. digg are now getting wise to this and there are quite a few threads on this forum now where people said they have had their digg accounts closed down due to trading diggs with one another.

Just thought id let you know :)
