    I'm sure they also check domain names, what urls we have all been using to submit our stuff. And sometimes we submit each others story. So basically, we are all connected somehow. But it was the fact that Emil had to take things one step further and publically, that made them take a need to take action. Very bad move!

    Didn't think it was that big a deal, everybody did it here anyway there was a 19 page thread about it for god sakes how much more public can it get....I was going to keep it just here, but that korn guy submited....

    But whate ever they banned people that weren't even in that thread, I just think webmasters aren't welcome at Digg..

    I was still able to log in some hours ago, checked now, seems I am banned too.
    If I try to log in it says "Sorry - bad IP address" < are they banning IP address too, will not be very easy to create "new" accounts I think.

    Wow! That seems kinda harsh. I wonder if they are IP logging users who get referred from DigitalPoint? That would make the most sense for quick action on the spam-digg thing although it's a bit like taking a sledgehammer to squash a fly.

    I dont think they are doing that, I think they thought he was promoting his site...eventhough he called me a loser, I kind of feel sorry for the guy, it seemed Digg meant a lot to him...:(
