I do feel bad for some people. I had 5 front pages and it seems everyone who submitted one was banned.

The funny part is 3 of the people don't know me nor do they have any association with DP or any other forum (Certianly never asked anyone to Digg their submission)

Unfortunately I think Alek was banned because he submitted a site of mine...Again, completely organic but guilt by association.

The other ironic part is if you go through the biggest thread in question, I can't find a single one that got a front page, with the exception of Shawns blog

I stopped submitting sites and stories to Shoutwire when they started deleting any stories involving large sites with influence and their racist attitudes. I can't see myself bothering reading at Digg anymore either with their backwards guilt by association attitude.

PS. I still have two active accounts at Digg with front pages so it isn't even like I can't submit - I just won't anymore

 

Uggg! i am now da only one whose left here....

It would though be interesting to see who you could get banned merely by posting a request to digg their article....they are such muppets

I have over 90 accounts on there and used to digg articles to the top frequently I stopped though because it's gay and time consuming.

 

How quick are new sites gettin banned? If its quick then they are probably using a script to check the referrer and check whether its a deep link and flagging the account.

 

So we could get a link to ANY article on Digg, post it here and then'd have no users left! Genius!

 

If it was a script, you could reak havoc so I really doubt it

The other side of this is anyone who has a popular forum knows that many times if you ban one IP, it affects a whole bunch of other people (Just ask Amit). If they banned a couple hundred IPs like it looks like, they probably ended up banning like 1000 people. Not to mention people just registering.

I still reckon they are flagging them somehow. Its hard to imagine them sat watching for new forum posts and banning straight away.
