digg traffic.

I have a tutorials site and I want to start premote it on digg.
the question is how do I get the first diggs and get the frongpage..?
how much diggs should I have in the first day to get the frongpage?

First, is your site popular? The first thing you need to do is add a "digg this" to your tutorial page so people who like your tutorial can digg it!

I'm not sure about the #'s you need to get to the front page though..

 

It's very hard to get to the front page nowadays. From what I recall you need about 40 Diggs to get promoted which was fairly easy to do about a year ago but lately there seems to be a club of Digg regulars that Digg their own stories only.

You'll either need an excellent article or buy/trade Diggs.

My suggestion, submit your URL and if you don't have 15 - 20 Diggs by the time you hit page 2 then start buying or trading as chances are you won't make it.

 

you need to get like 50 diggs in like a matter of minutes to even have a chance of getting on the home page, some diggers seem to have high power and if they digg your story thats good..they seem to like any thing out of the ordinary, any thing to do with tech stuff and any thing funny thats tech related...also big stories...I dont knwo if a tutorials site will make a home page...

the only stories I have which have made the home pages were stuff related to gamers, really funny articles...
