    exactly.. the guys in my office tried tons and got their accounts banned.. and digg people identified account names from our IP address and banned all.. Sadly my account was also there :(

    No, it is not against the rules of Digg to digg your own blog posts - practically this is a very working way to get some back links and increase the popularity of your blog. However, I am not talking about the so common abuses in Digg with proxy digging and stuff - it is very understandable why this is not a correct step to take in Digg or any other social network.;)

    It is a socail bookmarking network that you are able to submit articles to and everytime someone reads it, they can vote on it by digging it. They must be a member of digg in order for their vote to count. Someone else can submit your article also and you can also put the digg button(vote button) on your website.
