it is a project for helping a kid with epilepsy. You have any other ideas how we can spread the word pls feel free to share your ideas.. Common Gurus i know u have couple of tricks in your sleeves. Share them it is a good cause!

My mother has epilepsy, though not as severe.

Why do you need money to start a diet that consists mostly of food that is high in fats and low in carbos?

 

the money is needed because here we dont have a whole part of the foodchain designated for producing ketogenic diet products ( like in US of A)
So we have to take her to a clinic in Germany or probably Slovenia as this seem to be the cheapest destination. If you need more info I am ready to asnwer any question. I have to tell you it is terrible to have to ask for money people think we are somekind of scam which makes me even sadder

 

Cos applying the Letogenic diet is not that easy as you make it sound, and someone has to show you how to do it and has to execute it in a very strict manner... i hope this answers better your question

The ketogenic diet requires medical supervision to ensure success (and mitigate potential side effects). There are a few support forums for people on the diet that I know of:

There are also two newer diets for epilepsy/seizure control that have been studied:
