    Most forums (especially SitePoint and a few others) have this cliques I have noticed. We had a conversation though about this on IWDN the other day when I noticed another board was banned. Most tend to agree that it is a little immature. After all - on that board - you CAN say I have sent you a PM, or Check your PM.

    I used to frequent W*W often about 6 months ago, but trying to post and speak to people was like dealing with the *****, well after a while I decided to *** **** ** **** ** and after that I felt like I wasn't welcome and they hampered my ability to learn from other members due to their c*******p, and posting live l**ks was out of the question, if only I registered widgets.com, oh well.

    Really, want to get back at your competition!

    I have two domains for sale:

    blogmasterworld.com

    contentmasterworld.com

    I haven't done anything with these sites. I have them sitting on Sedo. Considering making blogmasterworld.com a blog resource / blog directory site. And considering making contentmasterworld.com a article submission site like articlecity or goarticles. But I wouldn't being doing anything anytime soon...so I will let it go...its up for grabs. email or pm me if interested. whomever!

    I tore up Sitepoint at one time and had fun doing it, they will not forget it either. :D

    Those guys and me had a hell of a lot of fun, but they are a censorship forum and have little editorial integrity.

    SITEPOINT = CENSORSHIP :eek:

    WEBMASTERWORLD = CENSORSHIP :eek:

    Sorry that is the truth and that is why Digital Point is special.

    Sitepoint has great people and they are great for programmers because they have folks like Keven Yank and others who teach programming, they publish great books on web development and programming.

    http://www.sitepoint.com/article/php-mysql-tutorial

    I just had problems with some members that really could not handle certain facts about certain of their favorite companies and when I put up facts they could not refute, one of their moderators started deleting threads that were in fact very important when they got a little too close to exposing some real bad things about their favored company in the industry.

    I don't want to bring a old story back to life so just leave it at that.

    You really don't visit other forums, Design Agent ? Wow, I lost count of how many I visit. And it has helped me a lot, I must read about 800 threads every single day and you can't imagine the amazing tips and ideas I have found in them. Of course, 99% of them are garbage, but in that tiny 1% you can find real treasures.

    Believe it or not... 800 threads, which mean a couple of thousand posts... from forums like seochat, sitepoint, webmaster-talk, webhostingtalk, digitalpoint, webmasterworld, namepros, dnforum, geekvillage, webproworld... and a few others I dont remember.

    Ah, the beauty of quitting your job and working at home... have all the time I want to be online :D

    Fryman, if that is what one does after "he makes it" and is able to quit his job, I think I will stay in the bricklaying business for a while, I just could not do 15 forums 24/7.

    In fact I am quite sick of forum and am getting forumed out :eek: :rolleyes:

    You need to get a cool hat and go biking, Anthony.

    Get one of those biker bottles and fill it with beer or a decent scotch. :eek:

    Hey, that's a good idea, I might try that out next Sunday (I mean the beer in the bottles part) :D

    Of course that's not what you do when you've made it, AC. I really enjoy being online and learning new stuff, but it is not something I am willing to do always. I am just forcing myself to work like a donkey this year so I can then relax and just use one hour each day to check my sites and my earnings, like most webmasters do. I'm just getting started and still have loads of work to do. I visit some forums, check out the posts, then go back to working on my sites. Take a break, check out more forums, and back to working on my other sites. That's my daily routine. Boring for some, incredibly entertaining for me, I love it and feel so much better now that I quit my office job and have a chance of working while I am having a beer.

    And I will feel much better next year when I will be watching a movie at the cinemma or having a chat with my friends while knowing that my sites are working for me.
