Looks like ShoeMoney was the winning bidder at just under $170.

 

Yea ... I was hoping GoldenPalace.com (aka $28,000 'Virgin Mary' French Toast) would bid, but appreciate ShoeMoney (and wrmineo) bidding on it. Ironically, the eBay auction hit Fark.Com this morning and BoingBoing shortly thereafter - check the hit counter at the bottom of the page - over 35,000! First time I had sold anything on eBay (ditto for the UofM folks) and we had fun doing it.

Had a few other folks express interest in donating to Celiac Disease ... so if you want to add to the over $3,000 raised so far, consider doing so at the University of Maryland's web page

 

I was checking the postitions paris hilton for the soemoneys page and came across this notice from google..

Haven't seen this before. The refferingpage at chillingeffects.org doens't exsits, anyone seen such a notice before in google index?

 

What was your Google search that brought up those results - I can seem to duplicate it - would be curious to see it first-hand.

 

Ohh dont look now but my blog is #19 for "paris hilton" on yahoo....

 

These are generally porn and wallpaper sites that have violated some serious laws, whether it's copyright or otherwise.

Being there is only like 6 days left until the first of the year if this puppy can crack the top TEN on yahoo (only 5 spots) i will donate 400$ to charity.

 

Yahoo has recently reindexed a few pages that I have some relevant links pointing to your page, hopefully this will help bump up another position or two ... hopefully five. Also, I have a few other sites and pages I've added an anchor keyword text link to that they've not yet recrawled .... time is short, but the task is still possible. Also, if MSN does some fresh crawling in the next few days, I suspect you'll get a nice jump there too.

 

Just out of curiosity, today I did a specific search for shoemoney meets Paris Hilton to see if any of my last ditch efforts in the ninth hour were having any affect ... take a look; doesn't look like we'll make it. Hope it brought you some free traffic in the efforts anyway .... lots of DP member sites obviously gave it a good team effort.
