    Is there anyone in this forum who had ever got there backlinks listed by google from this forum...The reason is as soon as you logout of this forum your signature gets converted into a adsense ad generated from the ganalytics Id of this forums admin...can anyone check it out for me ...plz share ur views ...bcz I had seen that even after the pages get indexed you dont gets any backlink of urs...Your backlinks is only shown to the members of this forum...and not for any guest and search engine...

    Yes, you are right, Digital point forums are no follow, but before this they were providing do follow links, what happened now ?

    I,m here from 2 months and not even one of my backlinks is shown till now from this forum...I think that this forum cheats by displaying there ads in place of our signature..

    If you're premium member, then your signature links are DOfollow, visible to everyone and have the ability to add 4 links.

    For free members, signature links are NOfollow, visible only to logged-in members and have the ability to add 2 links.

    Today I had noticed a strange fact about DP forum that when I logged out of this forum...and opened up one of my thread than I found that there were google ads in place of my signature and It was same for all posts wheather it was by me or by someone else...This was the only reason which I found that none of my backlinks comes from DP forum...the signature gets shown to members only than how can google crawl that links...I hope someone replys to me to give a probable good reason for this..but plz first check it out by urself by first logging out of this forum and than see...do u have any backlinks or not..or even if anyone disagrees with my point than he/she plz give me the link of any website which have DP forums backlink and I will check it out through SEO QUACK...

    dont you think that a person who is a member of this forum from last two months can have a look to that??..and even than too I dont know why is it like that...why this feature is limited to premium members..dont it make a partiality..and also if you consider the reputation of this forum than you must also be aware with that of warrior forum too...than how can warrior forum allow that ...??
    and considering the part of cheat..than I would like to say that..its ok that if they dont show the signature but what will u say about showing there Ganalytics ads on the place where the signature should be...dont you think now itts cheating??

    No, because there are no universal rules about how a forum should be run, set up or monetised. The owner/s of warrior forum can run that forum as they see fit. Users can then choose to spend time on whichever works best for them.

    A little bit of history. Once upon a time, many moons ago, the best SEO forum was called SEOChat. Internet Marketing hadn't even been coined yet. Someone bought the forum from and plastered ads all over it. Back then ADSL was hideously expensive in NZ so I had a dial up connection and on those low speeds I could barely get a thread to open. Shawn started digitalpoint and we all fled SEOChat and came here. Shawn would be foolish to forget his "roots" and he understands the fickle nature of web communities. Look at the popularity of MySpace and how it has fallen by the wayside with facebook (assuming you are old enough to remember MySpace).

    And just out of interest - how come your Location is messed up?
