Displayed Ads Content?

Does anybody know how the content of the ads is decided and if there is any control over how the content is chosen?

I'm new to this and still experimenting but I have some pages where the ad content doesn't match the page content. For example, on a ham radio site, on some pages I'm getting ads for cars. There is no mention of cars on the pages, or anywhere on the site really.

Other pages are really good and get the content spot on.

You could try using keywords that are more geared towards your sites content.

Do you mean meta tags or words on the page?

Do the ads pick up from the meta tags?

    Thanks, that's helped a lot.

I changed the meta tags keywords and description and new ads that are very suited to the site appeared in a couple of hours.

I'll play around with the image alt tags and title a little later.

Easy when you know how.... :D
