DNS Help please

    I have just setup a new cpanel with a new main domain via my whm vps server

    question because i run 2 cpanels now on the same vps do i need different nameservers.

    can get the new website to work in the new cpanel

    In simplest configuration, you should use different DNS for those VPS because they have different IPs (with their own dns zones & bind services).

    If you wanna make it complicated....create a DNS cluster in one of the VPS and share it with the other VPS. That way, you can just use 1 common DNS for both VPS.

    ah i see...so u just create 2 cpanel account on 1 whm, right? If yes, just 1 pair of dns can be used for ANY site that are hosting on this vps. This is because the dns bind process listens on all IPs for dns queries.

    sounds good, now i have no idea why the site is down i ran a test here http://www.intodns.com/fastwallpaper.com but have no idea what the errors mean

    "NS records from your nameservers" shows nothing in dnsn report. It means that you have NOT defines NS & A records in WHM's dns zone. simply ask your hosting provider (if it's a managed vps) and they can easily fix this for u.
