Do inactive Yahoo keywords hurt your account, campaign, or adgroup?

    I read in a couple places that regarding adwords inactive keywords that "they are a cancer in your account", so went through last night pausing them all (in my adwords account).
    I'm wondering how they (inactive keywords) will affect my Yahoo account. Should I pause the inactives hoping to turn some on later?
    Should I delete them all?
    Do I need to worry about it? Maybe they don't count against me?
