    do multiple links from the same site help?

    For example --- 3 links on different pages of Site A linking to 3 different pages on site B?


    Is it a waste of time or somewhat benificial?


    By 3 links I mean with 3 different keyword phrases also

    My feeling and experience is that there is some gain with multiple links from the same site and more if the anchor texts has your keywords in them.

    However, the relative value from multiple links will degrade as the number of links increases. In other words there will be a maximum gain where more links from Site A to Site B won't help.

    Also, if the links from site A is on a different C class IP range website than your Site B, you gain more.

    I think that is the most important factor. I woander if there are webmasters out there that are willing to exchane web hosting. They create an account on their server in exchange for simillar on a different server.

    If you have a normal site there with many links to the main site is it considered to be above board?
