Do you agree with Ad Borders?

Do you guys agree with adsense borders? I thought blending them with your background made better sense... but people keep telling me to put colored borders around them to make them stand out more.

    What color would you reccomend?

Stick to blending, it works. A border acts as a boundary which webusers are accustomed to skimping around. Pull up your article to embed the ad you have on that page. And change the link color to blue. :)

What do you mean by pull up the article?

I agree. Surfers are accustomed to the default blue text links so when they see one they know they can click it. Works very well on white pages with a blended white background for the ad unit.

I definitely agree with you. You guys know your stuff!

Just frustrating when I can only get around 500 page impressions with only a few clicks. I'm getting there though!

"Are you a talented band desperate..." pull that up to the text above to wrap it around the ad. I would also put a 300x square ad instead on that single button ad - more links, better CTR.

Where are you getting traffic from?

    Thanks Emitind! :)

    Hows it look now?

My site is very new.. (only two weeks old..) so my traffic is a little slow. Im getting traffic from a lot of the other bands... they put up my links/banner on their site and Myspace so I get traffic from their fans...other bands who see it, and the backlinks I have. But Im not sure what else to do.

Put that adblock inbetween two paragraphs and change the ad link colour to blue. 500 impressions a day is very good for a new website, unless you have another one..

They mean you should have the text wrap around the ads. Use this:

    <table border="0" align="left"><tr><td>
    GOOGLEAD
    </td></tr></table>

Here is the code to align your ad with the content:

    <div style='float: left; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px;'>ADSENSE CODE</div>
    HTML:
Here's a good example of how to embed ads:

Thank you guys! I'll let you know how it goes. Already 5 clicks with 200 impressions today. Not so bad.
