So youre saying that the number of ghost in rural areas is the same as in the city?Did I hear you right?

 

No i only meant to say we miss the obvious. People in Urban areas dont pay attention.
If you intend to go for headcount you will have to wait till i become a spirit.

I have known some people who before entering an uninhabited place say a prayer and enter the room. They pray for the spirits to leave before they enter.
In Indian culture and Hinduism people organise prayer sessions whenever they shift to a new house.
They say its purifies the energies of a given place.

Ghosts might exist, but how would we know that they represent a form of afterlife or demonology? I think people see ghost-like things and have unexplainable things happen to them, but moving from those unexplainable experiences to demons, angels, or some kind of afterlife metaphysics seems like jumping to conclusions.

People who have seen apparitions believe that they saw something. What more do you have than the image? Not much. You have a strange, spooky, possibly terrifying experience. But not much else. Even proving that a ghost exists doesn't mean it came from a dead human being, or some other "realm". The belief in ghosts seems to cause a lot of people to immediately start making groundless assumptions. Ghosts could represent nothing more than a different form of matter or energy not yet categorized. Who knows?

But that's not to say I wouldn't wet my pants and reach for the garlic if I actually saw one...

Any spirit is simply an energy pattern.
Most often than not spirits dont like to interact with us. Sometimes they do want to communicate with us. Their intent needs to be studied.
If i do get caught in such a situation i would invoke a strong protective energy shield around me.
