If it were true about you having more than one girlfriend then loneliness would be the last thing you would need to worry about.Staying alive would be your primary concern.Because one or the other would find out and you would be a dead man!

Nice bit of philosophy,yes but some people don't want to be alone so they reach out.If no one responds they feel rejected and lonely.

 

I never feel alone, i always smile. If smile is with me everytime then i am not lonely.

I wouldn't be coming to DP to get a better outlook of life. I come for business and to network and try and ignore the idiots, as difficult as that can be.

Different strokes for different folks.Wouldn't it be a boring world if we were all exactly the same? We need to respect our differences and we ought to try and resist the temptation to be judgmental.

 

How was I being judgmental? Being judgmental would be saying everyone on DP are idiots, when I really mean most of them are My point was most of the threads outside of the business forums are not positive in nature and you certainly wouldn't pick this forum over other forums to get a better outlook on life.

Yes loneliness can be a part of life if we allow it.But as I've indicated on this thread it doesn't have to be.I am convinced that there are solutions to that.Why give in to it? Don't be shy,pick up the phone when lonely and just say "Hi,how are you,I was wondering how you are?" Or head out to a coffee or tea house and sit there,maybe you can strike up a conversation.Call your parents,sister or brother.Bang on a neighbors door and ask to borrow a cup of sugar,strike up a conversation.So many ways to fight loneliness.

Luck doesn't really exist dear.That's merely a figment of your imagination.If you believe that things break down for you then that is just a mindset.You have convinced yourself that you are bound to fail,sometimes our thought habits work against us and prevent us from reaching our full potential.When this happens we can become our own worst enemies.
If your methods are not working for you then it's time to break out and try something new.You mentioned "that you can't change yourself" this is not accurate.You can....start by believing in yourself and slowly develop confidence.Once you start believing in yourself others will too.It is like a domino effect.When this happens it is known as having a "Magnetic Personality".People are like sheep,they will always follow a leader.A leader is someone who believes in themselves.
