Hey, off course I have a girlfriend, but hey don't let my wife know !

Yes, I have a girlfriend, but every time I get into a relationship, I end up feeling like it is killing my creativity. Does anyone sympathize?

 

Not really. I'm a person of extremes, and am unbalanced as a human being, without my wife. (not in some sappy way - I really need her to function properly, and I suspect many other people are the same way)

It could be that your "creativity" is just immaturity. Not intended to be offensive, but I could probably sympathize with you 15 years ago....

 

I have had a girlfriend for 2 years but now im leaving the country for 2 years and cant take her with me... sad

 

that is when loyalty kicks in.

Just thought I'd make an argument that none of the girls I've been with are go-getter types. I get the impression that they're content with life if I will just repeat after them when they say "I love you." If that's maturity, I'm not in it

 

That's not what I implied, and certainly not what you initially stated. that being said, however, immaturity may be more than just what it first appears. It may also have (much) to do with how you judge the character of others.

Usually, people end up with the type of person that they deserve. Like anything in life, you tend to reap what you sow. There are plenty of quality people out there. I suppose it just depends on what you priorities are, and how well you learn from past mistakes. You have to CHOOSE WELL.

Again, nothing that I can't apply to my own personal life.

I have a girlfriend, been together since June 28th 2005. We have our ups & downs, who doesnt. Nonetheless, is great!

 

Mine too... Married 5 years, 3 year old boy, 1 year old Lab, 4 year old V-Rod, 10 year old business. It doesn't get any better than that!

 

I'm single and I think I will be single for a long time

 

I'm single from 1 Janyary this year afther a 1.5 year relationship (i was olmost married) now i think i will be single for a long time

 

Don worry man.. You will get ur life back.. same happened wid me.. 5 yr old relationship went down.. bt rite now m really happy flirtin wid 100s of gals

The cool thing is that I got very lucky twice. My beautiful sweet wife of 16 years passed away from cancer a few years back, and then I met another wonderful woman through online dating. We've been married now for three and a half years and have 9 kids between us! Life couldn't be better...

 

Wow, sorry for your loss man. I am glad you were able to move on and find someone again. I really don't know how I could deal with something like that. You must be truly blessed. 9 kids? Again, WOW!

Thanks Mia, yeah it was a personal blow that left me and my three kids reeling for a while. You'd be amazed how strong you are when you have to be. I'd rather not have to go through that twice if I don't have to. And yes, my children, both natural and through marriage, are my greatest blessing second only to my wife.

 

It all depends on trust If you trust someone and if your trust is returned with a bigger trust...then things start to turn beautiful, more beautiful than you ever thought it would be...and ofcourse honesty is the best policy
