    It filters out the people who just don't get it - and that's good if you don't want them taking part. The same with SMS/TXT language.

    However, I like the fact that in this forum people tend to use normal english. And that must make it much easier for the people who don't have english as a first language too!

    I hate it, with a PASSION.

    Even in my txt's I spell all the words correctly. L33t and Txt talk are a #1 pet peeve of mine. Well, leet even more so.

    My experience is that a lot of Londoners (visited recently) are struggling with good old plain English.

    Thats the best stuff ever! My house-mate is a Brit and he educates me on how to speak it from time to time.
    ...who lives at home with his mother and his inflatable girl friend watching Xena the Warrior princess and reruns of Baywatch when he isnt "gaming" with his other 35 year old comic book loving frineds.

    Uh...ok that might have been a bit harsh but I cant stand the crap.
