    I get more out of it if I watch the movie with friends *whose humor a like*.
    Most of the times is rather better to watch a movie alone than get dsitracted by shallow remarks from people who don't even know how to appreciate good cinema.

    On more conisderation... it depends on the type of movie. Especially some personal scenes can really comfortably be seen only alone or with your brother. Then there are deep movies with really intelligent plot. Those types need tranquility and solitude. But the point is that they will fondamentaly open themselves up to you as a viewer, a point in time when you would really need company. Especially if you have friends intelligent ones you've handpicked.
    Lastly, comedy and action are better seen with company. The more the merier.
