Okay for those of us not in the know, or too lazy to look it up what's this 'crazy golf'? That like putt-putt golf, or like teeing off a par3 with a putter kind of crazy?

Putt putt golf on an obstacle course. Normally have to go around corners and avoid the sails of a windmill. Fun after a few beers but can get way too competitive. :)

Mella beat me to it, and with a picture as well.

Isn't it hard to have a beer in one hand and a cigar in the other, and play handball? Too much skill for me.

Swing, take a drink, drive up to your ball, take another drink.

    Now that's a sport.

Hmmm, I do golf and even run my own golf forum. I used to golf about 3 times a week but now it's down to once a week.

If you would like to visit my golf forum, the name is Golf Rewind and the URL is http://www.golfrewind.com

I tried golf...once...at a resort. You see I wanted to make the ball go further, so at the end of the day I broke a half dozen clubs from swining to hard and missing my mark... yeh, there weren't happy with me

That is my only encounter with golf so far, but it did seem fun those few times when I actualy got the ball where I wanted it to go. :D

In Holland we call it Midget Golf.

It wasn't until I moved to London though that I found out what midgets are. I guess it's an appropriate name but mini golf or crazy golf sounds a bit less patronizing towards our little friends.

I don't play golf. Done the putting range in Newquay and did enjoy it so suspect I'll give the real deal a try in the near future.

Played a lot of golf on the old 486 DX2 on the HI speed setting (100mhz wow!). Loved the sounds from the PC speaker :D .

I see those from the train past Wimbledon here and they look like a lazymen's solution to me. Like fishing in a purpose built fish pond. Like fitness.

Can't remember who it was but a fellow DP'er made a great comment about us people being disconnected from nature. Lazymen's options like that only encourage that behaviour.

I guess my wakeboarding at the cable track is similar though. Bit lazy as well.

It's nice to see fellow golfers in this forum. Envy that some of you still have the time for a round or two. Similarly to debunked, time, money and family is my main constrains (besides webmastering :D)
