    Non-profits can (and very often do) take government money. And they can earn money by selling products or performing services.

    As I said before, the non-profit designation is only about whether or not it has owners who get to keep the profits.

    No owner, and unspent funds remain inside the organisation = non-profit

    One or more owners, and unspent funds can be paid out to the owner(s) = for-profit

    I think it may be a non profit organization because a company with such a big brand name may getting some source of incomes from other businesses. That's why the website is providing different add on and plug ins for the Mozilla browser.
