    When patching a hole for IE Microsoft has to consider their whole OS. Firefox does not. I am not an expert in coding but I do know from my experiences so far that when making fixes to a software you have to be careful taht you make other things impossible to use.

    It's Microsoft's fault for deliberately integrating their products so tightly into Windows that it was unusable without them, because they couldn't compete on merit alone.

    No, FireFox is way better, especially with all the extensions you can use.

    I have used Firefox for a long time now, it's normally faster to load pages, usually the first for new ideas which are then copied by IE, and doesn't fill my Add/Remove Programs window with every update! Oh, and it's also produced by Google.
    The only advantage I have noticed to IE is that my Blogger blog looks a little better, the text looks crisper and the photographs more clear and vibrant, so come on Firefox - a small improvement in that area please!

    What pages do you look at that load faster in FF? every page whether bare text, thumbnail gallery's, video site's load around 2 seconds slower for me in FF compared to IE.

    I'm not slating FF or nor do I prefer IE - In fact I'm sick of IE deciding to close my browser when I have multiple tabs open, it just draws the bloody screen down right before my eyes :mad: Overall I use IE as a force of habit as I have used it from the start of the internet..

    You may wish to rethink your universe - Mozilla won't fix 80% of Firefox 3.0's bugs

    I use both IE and Firefox, I don't really have a bias towards one or the other. IMO IE has made some nice strides, with the overall edge still leaning towards Firefox.

    I use a new revolutionary browser called "Lively Browser", For:

    Internet Explorer = None = 1 webpage/window
    Firefox = Tabbed = 10+ webpages/window
    Lively Browser = Tabbed + Tree = 100+ webpages/window

    I've vaguely heard of it but I won't use it because, whenever I hear someone advertise a "revolutionary" product, I know it's not.
