    You could use the pen tool to create vector images but it can take awhile depending how large the image is, when using it theirs two options, the 'shapes' option were you make a shape it'll automatically fill in with a color. Or theirs path, were you can make shapes without it filling it (this is used for rendering a image usually )

    Well, the fastest way if you already have a image your just want to vectorize it to live trace it. But you will have to work a bit with the pen tool after having live traced it.

    Photoshop is the wrong tool for vectors. It's like eat spaghetti with a fork. Use illustrator or Fireworks, you can download 30 day trials on Adobe's website.

    There is only one way to do this in photoshop and its with the pen tool. Otherwise you will have to use illustrator. Sorry bud thats how the cookie crumbles
