    In the last month a video i posted on vimeo.com (see video here) has had almost 200,000 views! and has been embedded on over 100 websites (in the last month alone). there is a link back to our blog (hd-fractals) in the video description and we have received over 10,000 visits from this link. all this in the last month alone.

    I have only 90 contacts on vimeo. but the quality of my content is very high so from these 90 people my video has gone viral!!

    yes - but the same content was used on youtube and only gained 3000 views in a year so the choice of site uploaded to is just as important!! think of the audience you gain from youtube compared to the audience of vimeo

    for me being an animator - the audience of vimeo is far more targeted and therefore i have a better response and more views.
