    If you do, post the link to your PodCast. The closest I've ever got is combining all my wacko singing in to one mp3. (20 megs. For you dial-ups, look through this directory.)

    i was all excited when i heard the word "podcasting" because i thought it was something cooler than it actually was.....i guess i still haven't figured it out yet......anyone find any cool podcasts that you would suggest?

    mp3 files to download. Usualy found through feeds. You pick what you want to download....something like that...

    Like most things internet, most podcasts are probably pretty lame. But there are a few talented, enterprising folks that are able to produce well thought out programs. So, in a way, they get a chance to "broadcast" around the globe without the investment in the infrastructure such as a radio staion would, and they can be heard by large audiences. I doubt there are many doing podcasting well.

    No, but it's easy and accessible to those who can just about use an ipod. I think it will evolve to blogcasting though. poscasting is too selective.

    I've just done it... and it is nerve wrecking... not the same as creating a site and have people come visit and then leave and come back... this way they actually have to listen to you and then crush your soul with their muddy dirt trodden feet when they leave and don't subscribe :( ... but I'm having no issues at all with it! Having said that - there might be something in this PodCast thing. We finished the recording on the weekend (it's a weekly horoscope PodCast) and submitted to Yahoo PodCast and iTunes - they've both added us in there... "and"... if you do a search at google for horoscope podcast we're 3rd! hmmmmm now if only there are people out there can start searching for that!

    I bought a IPOD recently hoping to put all that crap on it, butthen I decided to rip it apart and install linux on the hard drive. I was playing half life on it the other nite. Its pretty sweet.
