    For sure! Social media sites like Stumbleupon, sphinn, digg get you more traffic and the targeted one.

    Many of the hot sites are no-follow still you can expect good traffic.

    yea it does help in traffic..but normally that traffic does not convert....But still it might be useful in exposing your site to more people and thus prove to be useful
