Ofcourse it works! It's a major platform. Some are harder than others but it's just like everyday business and promotion - you use bigger companies or brands to push yourself up the ladder.

Blogging and Social Networking is the most done thing online now (Neilson-Online) and with over a quarter of a billion people using the likes of MySpace, for example, it's like all your eggs in one basket.

If your serious about using social networks as the main key to promote your business or service then you have to take it to the next level and dedicate hours a day to promoting through it. It has to be an ongoing thing.

Not only does social networking really work, but the majority of sign ups I have for my programs is from social networking. Plus when done right you can pretty much have your advertising on autopilot from it. Plus think about it like this: if it was not still a great avenue then there would not be so many new celebrities using it all the time. Plus you see Shaq is in on it now too. I have not signed up with that one but I can see why he put himself into it. It is a multi billion dollar industry that does not look like it is going to slow down any time soon.

When it comes to online marketing, social networking is the best way to go. It's easier to let people know about your product through feeds than sending individual e-mails (and be mistaken for spam). It's also extremely easy for a product's ad to become viral in SNS (social networking sites).

Sure it will draw massive traffice.. but i guess you have to put some time on it, and probable will exponentially spread.. facebook and friendster would be the most popular.

To see the benefits of using social media you need too much time to get involved in. You cannot afford just to be a spammer because you will be banned sooner or later and more then that, people will not be interested in your offers.

Hi, social networking is a new issue for me. Perhaps, any of you could suggest some tutorial sites which explain about how to make the most from them?

It absolutely works! However, you have to really get involved and build relationships. You can not just expect to create a profile page and then start getting traffic to your website. You need to build interest and people with follow.

It always works if you thinking to use as Conversation strategy not broadcast strategy. Also better Soft sell instead of hard sell. Hard sell , it will create negative impact more.

without a doubt, social networking sites are necessary for two reasons. firstly, it provides a back link to the articles posted out there, and then it also gives your content an opportunity to be read by others.

I find the the quality of traffic is not really from buyer types however I get a few month from them so it is worth it I gues but it only takes seconds for me to submit my sites to all major social sites. I mainly use it for the links

IMO, you are friends with people who have other friends, and so on. There is potential in such a common situation.

By using a social networking site, you can do what you can and get connected with these people to form a web of connections that can give you leverage if you play your cards right.

As long as you give as well as you recieve, then they will most likely stick with you. These connections are definitely valuable in the long run.
