    I guess it's a bit like when you see actresses on the red carpet - it's either cleavage or legs, never both.

    So in sigs it's either size or color, never both

    I think it's okay to self-promote if it's on topic, or if the thread is helpful. There can be grey areas for sure but it's pretty obvious when someone is just posting to get their site and/or affiliate links on the boards. I don't think it's makes much sense to complain about it because those kinds of folks will do it anyway.

    I get a good laugh sometimes by people's responses. We are well within our right to give spammers a hard time.
